When first installed select which cylinder/s you want to start to be the service.
Cylinders from one group “Service” are used in preference to the other “Reserve” cylinder group.
When the “Service” group is empty an indicator shows red showing that the “Service” group of cylinder are empty or near to being empty. At this point the Clesse changeover automatically starts to draw gas from the “Reserve” group ensuring uninterrupted gas supply to the user.
Then when Indicator shows red continuously it’s time to call your gas supplier.
Then the following day an order of gas can be made whilst the “reserve” group keeps the supply running. When the new cylinders have been fitted the driver will normally switch the Clesse control making these the reserve whilst the existing cylinders run empty.
When the empty cylinder is changed, the person who exchanges the cylinder will then turn the Clesse indicator knob to the existing part-used cylinder ready to indicate when it becomes empty – this then becomes the “Service”
Automatic changeover regulators are designed especially for use in systems where a reserve cylinder is used to provide a continuous, uninterrupted supply of gas.
The Change Over System automatically draws from the second source. The empty source can then be changed without flow interruption.
The Automatic Changeover Regulator automatically redirects LP gas vapor flow from an empty designated service cylinder to a reserve cylinder, without interruption of service. It features a green indicator dome which changes to red when the service cylinder needs to be refilled. Can also be manually operated to select bottle
The main function of the automatic changeover regulator is supplying gas without stopping by automatic changeover and it is great to be used for the facility which is supposed to supply gas at stable pressure. Those are especially suitable for homes, mobile homes, cottages, construction and other portable two cylinders installation. Empty containers may be replaced without interrupting consumer’s gas service.

Open the two cylinder valves at the same time. This is a fundamental step to allow the Automatic Changeover to ensure continuous gas flow from the full reserve cylinder when the service cylinder goes empty. The Automatic Changeover cannot withdraw from the reserve cylinder if the cylinder valve is closed.
When both cylinders are full the changeover indicator displays green, provided that the valves on both cylinders A and B are open.
The arrow on the hand-wheel indicates which of the two cylinders is used first; this becomes the service cylinder. The other cylinder is referred to as the reserve cylinder.
When the “service” cylinder becomes empty the Automatic Changeover senses negative pressure (cylinder pressure less than 5 PSI), and automatically switches to the reserve cylinder ensuring continued gas supply to the appliances. The end user can confirm that the service cylinder is now empty because the indicator is displaying red.
Close cylinder valve A and rotate the Automatic Changeover hand-wheel 180°. If the reserve cylinder is full the indicator will display green – Remove the empty cylinder – Install a full cylinder and connect to Automatic Changeover with high pressure hoses or pigtails. Then open the cylinder valve A
